Our Global Logistics (GL) team is looking for an experienced Import Logistics Specialist.

The team is dedicated to coordinate the movement of goods into EU & UK from different origin points. We manage customs clearance and transportation arrangements (by air, sea or land). Our goal is to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery while navigating complex international trade regulations and optimizing supply chain efficiency.

The multicultural, multilingual team works with merchants, sellers, providers, governments and trade officials from the busiest to the most remote locations around the world, applying a global perspective with a local approach.

A logistics specialist facilitates flow of information between multiple internal and external stakeholders (Logistics Service Providers (LSP)/sellers/customs/product managers/supply chain) and resolves any potential issues that affect seller/customer experience and delivery performance. A logistics specialist provides timely resolution by researching & querying internal tools, taking real-time decisions and having an effective communication with the stakeholders.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct deep dive analysis of performance combining internal and external data sources
• Must be able to systematically resolve problems with data integrity and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered.
• Must be able to quickly understand the business impact of the trends and make good quality data driven decisions.
• Prioritize, optimize and deliver timely updates for all key metrics
• Graphically visualize data to allow easy access to large sets of information and understanding for a broad range of people
• Develop automation solutions for reports, tools and processes
• Deliver operational improvements using data driven approach to root cause analysis and solution design
• Continual, tactical communication with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (FBA, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers).
• Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed.

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Logistics, Mathematics or similar field

· Experience in an operational environment with proven ability to thoroughly understand processes, identify improvement opportunities, and drive change

· Fluent in English (written and verbal communication)

· Working knowledge of data and analytics, business intelligence

Preferred Qualifications

· A Master degree in Business, Economics, Logistics, Mathematics or similar field

· Performance Management experience

· Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma tool set

· Project management experience

· Skills in SQL, ETL, Data Warehouse solutions and databases. Minitab/Jump/Tableau/SQL Workbench
