Simona Petrzilkova

I consider myself to be a motivated and engaged individual who values learning and personal development. I have participated in a variety of educational and professional opportunities, including internships, conferences, and volunteer work. I have demonstrated a passion for activism, social justice, and human sciences, as well as the desire to develop my skills in leadership, teamwork, and communication. 

 I was selected as a trainee for the Online Green Activists Week organised by GEF and the European Greens. I was also part of the Youth Consultation on The Establishment of the UN Youth Office where I got the chance to discuss the framework of the resolution A/RES/76/306 and how can the UN Youth Office improve meaningful youth engagement across the UN system and its main pillars of work.
I devoted the rest of my free time to volunteering for various organisations such as the Red Cross, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, Greenpeace, and Danish Environmental Protection Agency where I performed tasks ranging from translations, event organising, and management to campaigning and social media coordination.
