    CME Group is seeking a financial and technically accomplished Financial Controller – Oneplay International (Project Cost Planner & Tracker) to provide financial control and cost management support for the Oneplay International rollout.


    Help us roll out our new international digital platform by bringing structure, clarity, and control to a complex multi-market program.

    You'll sit at the intersection of Finance and Technology, making sure costs are visible, reporting is accurate, and resources are used wisely.

    Your insights will turn delivery data from software teams into clear actions for leadership.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Financial Planning and Control
    Build and maintain the project's financial model (CAPEX/OPEX, internal MD tracking, vendor costs, allocations).
    Monitor actuals vs forecast and deliver regular variance analysis with recommendations.
    Consolidate financial and delivery data into a single cost view for Group CTIO and CFO.
    Support scenario planning, budgeting, and investment requests.

    Project Cost Tracking
    Implement cost control frameworks aligned with delivery sprints and workstreams.
    Integrate data from ticketing and development tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps) into cost and forecast models.
    Track resource utilization, internal MDs, and external costs by market and platform component.
    Partner with delivery leads to align technical progress and financial reporting.

    Governance and Reporting
    Ensure compliance with CME financial governance and reporting standards.
    Produce monthly dashboards with financial KPIs and risk indicators.
    Support audit and documentation requirements.
    Coordinate with Finance, PMO, and Technology leads across all markets.

    What You Will Need to Succeed:
    5–8 years of experience in financial controlling, cost planning, or FP&A.
    Proven exposure to software development or technology delivery projects.
    Strong understanding of effort-based forecasting, cost allocation, and MD tracking.
    Familiar with Agile delivery frameworks and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
    Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and standard data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI).
    Excellent analytical and communication skills, with attention to structure and accuracy.
    Analytical and detail-driven, yet pragmatic in execution.
    Able to connect financial logic with delivery reality.
    Communicates clearly across Finance, Technology, and Operations.
    Self-driven, reliable, and comfortable working across countries and virtual teams.


    Extra credit for:
    Experience in media, digital platform, or telecom environments.
    Knowledge of software capitalization rules and project accounting principles.
    Ability to consolidate cost data across multiple legal entities and currencies.
