- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements related to sustainability initiatives.
- Design end-to-end solutions that align with customer business outcomes utilizing Microsoft Cloud for Sustainablity, Power Platform, Fabric, and Azure Data services.
- Create architectural blueprints, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Identify patterns where additional resources are needed for education purposes.
- Curate content that meets the needs for level 100 – level 400 and satisfies the appropriate audience persona that needs to consume the material.
- Deliver training material either virtually or in person.
- Design data solutions using Fabric services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Implement data governance, data tagging strategies, and data security best practices.
- Utilize Kubernetes and microservices for data sharing, storage, reliability, and high availability.
- Work closely with stakeholders, including sustainability leads, emissions analysts, and IT administrators.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and communicate effectively with development teams.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (OR equivalent work experience) or related technical discipline AND senior technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, preferably in sustainability-focused projects.
- Strong knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate).
- Proficiency in Fabric and other Azure Data services (Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics).
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance.
- This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
