- Acting as Technical Product Owner for the existing DSPE Classic Toolchain (Bitbucket, Nexus, GitLab, Jenkins, Teamcity, Jira, Confluence,Sonarqube)
- Improvising the Technical architecture of the product (how it is deployed, run to be resilient etc) by working closely with Enablement team leads
- Collaborating with other peer teams overseeing SRE function and other functions across DSPE Toolchain (Service Management, peer platform and enablement teams)
- Leveraging expertise in IaC methodologies to transform existing tool configurations into code and take initiatives to codify the Infrastructure
- Identifying and implementing improvements to our Classic Toolchain and Processes
- Enhancing resilience, reliability, and performance, reducing manual overhead and promoting automation across operations
- Leading the deployment of new versions of software and configurations across environments using automated pipelines
- Extensive hands-on experience in DevOps tools including but not limited to Sonatype Nexus, SonarSource SonarQube, Chef, Jenkins, TeamCity, JIRA/Confluence
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS for application hosting and with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Chef and AWS CloudFormation
- Wide Application/Service Support Experience
- Proficient developing in a major programming language such as Java, Python, scripting languages like Bash and PowerShell beneficial
- Experience with containerization technologies
- Background in engineering
- Extensive multi-year hands-on experience with SQL databases ideally MS SQL and Postgres
- Good knowledge on Release, Deployment and Change management process (ITIL)
