    We are seeking a Data Governance Expert to drive and operationalize the data governance practice across T-Mobile Czech Republic and Slovak Telekom.


    This role will be responsible for defining and implementing governance frameworks, policies, and guidelines, ensuring high data quality, compliance, and availability.

    The Expert will also strengthen data culture by engaging Data Owners and Data Stewards through training, workshops, and hands-on support.

    Additionally, the role will play a key part in guiding organisation to connect data assets, reports, and processes in Collibra, ensuring a trusted, transparent data ecosystem.


    Key Agenda:
    Governance Framework & Standards
    Define and implement a data governance framework, policies, and guidelines across the organization.
    Establish standards for data ownership, stewardship, quality, cataloging, and lineage.
    Automatise process of Semantic creation for data & reports in company.
    Enablement & Training
    Organize and deliver training programs for Data Owners and Data Stewards to foster engagement and accountability.
    Develop supporting materials such as playbooks, guidelines, and templates.
    Act as a champion of data culture, promoting adoption of governance practices.
    Collibra Implementation & Data Ecosystem
    Act as a Collibra subject-matter expert, configuring, maintaining, and extending its use across business units.
    Connect data assets, reports, and key business processes in Collibra to ensure transparency and trust in data.
    Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
    Partner with Business, Technology, Risk, and Compliance teams to integrate governance into daily practice. Provide governance input into data & AI initiatives, ensuring strong foundations for scalability.
    Track adoption of governance practices and report KPIs to leadership team.
    Benchmark against Deutsche Telekom Group standards and industry best practices.


    Key Requirements:
    University degree in Information Management, Business or related area.
    3-7 years in data governance, data management, or data quality roles.
    Hands-on experience using Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud or similar governance platforms.
    Proficient in Collibra configuration and workflows, including business glossary and catalog connections.
    Experience in teleco, banking, or other data-rich environments is preferred.
    Deep knowledge of data governance principles (ownership, stewardship, metadata, lineage, quality).
    Strong facilitation and training skills, able to engage non-technical stakeholders.
    Ability to influence and drive change in a cross-functional environment.
    Fluency in English (at least B2 level) and Czech/Slovak language is a necessity.
