    Job Description

    An Opportunity to Shine as a Python Developer at HSBC Technology Poland

    • Contribute to all aspects of programming work in the construction and testing of analytic platforms.
    • Play a key role in accelerating development of prototypes that could materially influence risk analysis and risk measurement at HSBC.

    The Role

    You will be part of a team responsible for developing and testing applications using Python. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects that can make a significant difference in the financial services industry.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with other developers, data analysts, and modellers to manage the software development lifecycle.
    • Actively utilise tried and tested methods for managing software development.
    • Comply with FIM requirements and minimise operational risk.
    • Maintain technical documentation throughout prototyping and core development processes.
    • Engage with stakeholders during delivery.

    Requirements

    • Experience in building and testing applications in a professional environment in Python.
    • Some experience programming in a mathematical or engineering technical environment (such as MATLAB).
    • Knowledge of common design patterns.
    • Strong knowledge of testing principles.
    • Some experience developing in an Agile environment with continuous integration practices.
